Team Deathmatch Online

Team deathmatch is the fastest way into a fight on CS Browser. Press Play now and quick match drops you into a team deathmatch room that is already running, or opens a fresh one when every room is full. You spawn, you shoot, and four seconds after you fall you are back in.

What team deathmatch is

Two teams share one scoreboard. Every kill scores a point for your side, and the first team to 50 kills wins the match. If neither side gets there, the team ahead when the ten-minute clock runs out takes it. There are no rounds to sit out: when you die, you respawn at your team's side of the map and run straight back into the fight.

If you grew up on CS deathmatch servers, this is the same loop with teams: constant action that still rewards trading kills, holding an angle with a teammate and pushing together. Fans of CS 1.6 deathmatch will know the rhythm: pick a rifle, find a lane, and keep the pressure on until the scoreboard decides it.

How quick match finds your game

Quick match looks at every public room running team deathmatch and picks the one with the most players that still has a free seat, so you land where the action is. If every room is full, it opens a new one and lets bots hold the other seats until more people arrive. You join the match already in progress, the way you would drop into a CS deathmatch server; nobody waits in a lobby for a host to press start.

Playing with friends works the same way. Once you are in, open the pause menu and copy the invite link, or make a room from the list on this page and send its link. Anyone who opens it lands in your match. Your name, your loadout and your settings stay in this browser, so the next visit takes one press.

Team deathmatch rules

  • The first team to 50 kills wins. Otherwise the team with more kills after ten minutes wins.
  • You respawn four seconds after you die, carrying the primary weapon you chose in the loadout menu.
  • Teams are assigned when you join, and you can switch sides from inside the match.
  • Bots fill empty seats so a room is never empty, and a player who joins takes a bot's place at once.
  • On Cargo Ship the middle of the deck is a buy zone: spend kill money ($800 to start, $300 a kill) on guns and ammo. Grenades and armour are not for sale.

Maps for team deathmatch

Every map in the game runs team deathmatch. Cargo Ship is a long container deck with an open middle and two side passages; Dust 2 brings the long lanes and tight corners every CS 1.6 deathmatch regular knows. Quick match on this page picks the map for you, and the room list lets you choose one yourself. Cargo Ship rewards quick hops between containers and fights in the open middle; Dust 2 rewards patience on its long sightlines and smart use of its doors and tunnels.

Team deathmatch tips

  • Move with a teammate. In team deathmatch the side that trades kills fastest wins, so stay close enough to swing in when your partner goes down.
  • Check behind you after every kill. Respawns keep sending players back into the map from their own side.
  • Reload behind cover, not in the open. Four seconds is a short wait, but every death still hands the other team a point.
  • Pick one rifle and learn its recoil. A steady spray beats a new gun every life.

Team deathmatch FAQ

How do I join a team deathmatch match?

Press Play now at the top of this page. Quick match looks for a room in this mode with a free seat and puts you in it; if none has room, it opens a new one. Friends can follow you in through the invite link in the pause menu.

Is this a CS deathmatch server?

No. CS Browser is its own browser game, not a server for another game. Its team deathmatch plays the way CS deathmatch players expect, with respawns, team scores and fast rifles, all inside a browser tab. CS Browser is independent and not affiliated with Valve.

Do I have to install anything?

No. The game loads in your browser the first time you press Play now and stays cached afterwards, so your next match starts even faster.

Can I play team deathmatch on my phone?

Yes. It works with touch controls on phones and tablets, and with a mouse and keyboard on a computer.

What if nobody else is online?

Bots take the empty seats, so a match starts right away, and every player who joins replaces one. You can also play solo against bots from the stage above.

Ready for team deathmatch?

One press finds a match. Bring a friend with the invite link once you are in.
