What this map is
Cargo Ship is a compact container deck, the first map in CS Browser. Two teams meet between opposite ends of one ship, not across a city-sized arena. The stage above runs this map; the lobby below lists rooms, starting with this map.
Lanes, routes, and cover
Think of the deck as a long rectangle. The straight route is the open middle: it is the shortest crossing and the easiest place to be seen from end to end. Containers and crates cut that view into shorter steps, so you move from one block of cover to the next. A narrower passage runs along each side. Those passages hide you from the middle, but their exits face the open deck, and stepping out is its own decision. A few stacks rise above the deck and can watch one stretch of it. They do not see the whole ship, and they are not a second floor you can patrol.
A diagram drawn for this page. It shows the routes, not a screenshot; play the stage above to learn the deck itself.
How a round plays here
The round keeps going until a score target or the clock ends it. Each confirmed elimination adds a point for that team. When time runs out, the higher score wins, and an even score is a draw. You come back from your own end after a short delay, rather than appearing in the middle of the fight. A rifle fits the open middle, a longer sight fits a gap you are watching, and a sidearm or knife fits a passage that has already closed in.
Notes for your match
- Cross the middle in pieces, from one container to the next, instead of sprinting the whole deck.
- When a side passage is quiet, treat the exit as watched before you step out.
- After you return from a delay, the fight may already have moved to the other end. Look before you commit to the middle.
- This guide ends where the match begins: the stage above runs the round, and the lobby below lists rooms on this map.
